First commercial sales of ZigBee/802.15.4-compatible packet analyzer
-Using the packet analyzer to reduce the development and evaluation periods will speed product entry into the market. A presentation and demonstration are scheduled for ESEC, which begins on May 13.

On May 11, Skyley Networks Inc.(based in Minato-ku Tokyo, with Hidekazu Umeda as representative CEO, capitalized at \63,952,500) will start selling the SK Sniffer, a ZigBee/IEEE802.15.4-compatible packet analyzer, in cooperation with Digi International K. K. (based in Shibuya-ku Tokyo, with Joseph Dunsmore as President), a worldwide leader in the connect-ware product industry. This product is the first to be offered under the technical cooperation between our two companies.

The SK Sniffer ZigBee/802.15.4-compatible analyzer is a revolutionary tool that helps users know and confirm diverse information generated in the development environment, such as the locations of unclear connection failures, reasons for unstable communications, whether data transmission is complete, the total amount of send/receive traffic with multiple devices, and whether there are PANs on the same frequency band. Employing this tool will reduce the required development and evaluation periods, thus speeding product entry into the market.

SK Sniffer is priced at \98,000 (excluding tax), with additional sets at \78,400 (excluding tax). Both companies hope to sell 1000 sets each by 2010. They will jointly continue to promote public awareness of ZigBee and mesh network technology, while expanding the ZigBee market.

Major features of SK Sniffer
1) Analyzes and displays MAC, NWK, and APS layers.
2) Supports the AES security frame.
3) Can log and read logged data.
4) Has a visual analyzer for visualizing traffic.
5) Supports a resolution in the order of micro seconds for timestamps.
